Social Media
We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and motivated social media strategist expert, with exceptional writing skills, and creative thinking abilities. Candidates must be able to create social ad strategies along with ad copy and creative. Social Media analytics and reporting skills are a big plus!
The role will work closely with our Social Media team leads and digital marketing teams to identify Social Media goals and initiatives, and will achieve these goals through organic posting, and paid advertising.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in social media strategy and ad creation, uploading, and management. We want a candidate who is excited about Social Media and its growing role in the digital marketing space. We also like people who like to have fun and enjoy a collaborative environment. Please submit a portfolio of ads written, social media posts written, or social media strategy documents.
  • Build and execute social media strategy across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Evaluate and identify target customer segments
  • Determine opportunities within social channels and develop content to drive brand awareness and increase revenue to these audiences and channels
  • Plan and execute ROI-positive content on the social media level
  • Develop and evaluate messaging to maximize performance
  • Implement best practices for Social Media, reuse, and optimization

The overall goal of this internship is to provide you with meaningful networking, research, negotiating, and intrapersonal skills, as well as to provide industry contacts and connections for the future. For Wallaroo, the ultimate hope would be that you help to directly influence growth and client acquisition. This internship is oriented around researching potential client businesses, learning how to assess needs, and nurture leads. Sales interns work with our leadership team (CEO, President, and VP) as well as our account management department to hone and learn new skills.
Desired Experience and Skillset:
  • Senior University Student or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Some experience in B2B sales and account management
  • Familiarity with digital marketing in general (areas including SEO, content
  • creation, social media, advertising)
  • Must have stellar interpersonal skills
