What did they want to achieve with Wallaroo?

IKEA partnered with Wallaroo in 2019, looking to establish an online foothold in Dubai for their brand. The company had three physical locations in the city and a new social media account set up for the area. They wanted online awareness and increased follower numbers to help boost in-store traffic and sales overall. Wallaroo helped build strategies for both paid and organic advertising and used assets provided by IKEA to create the ads to be used in the campaigns.

What results did they see?

Within just a few short months, ads and organic posts had generated millions of impressions across all platforms. The social media accounts saw a dramatic jump in followers and engagement as well. These metrics were important in measuring the effects of Wallaroo’s combined efforts with IKEA, but they were not the only goal.
