At least once in every woman’s life she utters the words, “I have nothing to wear.” This fashion boutique’s goal was to change that. Together, we planned to sell new styles to new audiences.

After suiting up, this boutique is a now closet favorite.

Client Goal

After feeling some major closet inspiration, and forcing ourselves not to buy every single lace and floral dress on the site, we were ready to create ads and get sales.

We knew items would sell out fast and new ads would have to launch weekly, so we created ad designs that could be easily mixed and matched with new images and copy. We also created copy that matched the brand and audience we were trying to reach, with the two client goals in mind:

  • Generate online sales for boutique inventory updated weekly.
  • Keep audiences interested in styles of clothing that are being sold at other boutiques.

Our Approach

We implemented our strategy to meet the client’s goals in two ways:

  • To generate online sales for boutique inventory with high turnover, we established clear communication with the client to receive new images for design before inventory went live so we could have ads designed and ready for implementation once new arrivals launched.
  • We also created lookalike audiences of their customer email list for advanced targeting purposes.
  • To keep audiences interested in this boutique’s particular styles, we chose to highlight features of items that were key selling points for our audience.

Ad Campaigns

For these ad campaigns, we relied heavily on targeting lookalike audiences created from the boutique’s customer email list, and beautifully crafted photographs of the boutique’s products. We also focused on advertising best selling dresses that were nursing-friendly, pregnancy-friendly, and overall body-friendly for all shapes and sizes.

Ad Spend vs Return

The results of selling the right styles to the right audience with the right ads was astounding after a 5-month span! This online boutique has grown immensely in a short period of time. Since we began, they spent $16,571 on ads. Those ads directly generated $347,815 in revenue over five months.

The Results

$347,815 Total Return on Ad Spend over 5-month span
$16,571 Total Actual Spend
